This essential oil is derived from the blossoms of the bitter orange tree and has a powerful but delicate bitter-sweet floral fragrance.  It is an excellent oil which stimulates cellular activity and growth.  Any type of skin can benefit from this oil, although it is particularly good for irritated or sensitive skin. Neroli is very useful for the treatment of broken capillaries under the skins surface common in mature skin.  Neroli can also regulate skin sebum in oily skin as well as minimize enlarged pores. 
It is also considered one of the most effective sedative and antidepressant essential oils.  It is particularly useful for insomnia especially when sleeplessness arises from anxiety.
